On Saturday, 16th November 2024, DC, Deoghar organized a Sweep Fair aimed at increasing voter awareness across the district. The event, which was a part of the ongoing efforts to encourage voter participation, attracted a large number of local residents.

As part of the fair, a special food stall was set up by the Food Craft Institute (FCI) Deoghar, offering a diverse range of food items, snacks, and refreshing mocktails to the attendees. The highlight of the food stall was that it was totally managed by the FCI students, who not only prepared each item and mocktail from scratch but also served them personally to the visitors. This hands-on involvement allowed the students to gain valuable skills in food preparation, customer service, and entrepreneurship, which are essential in today’s world.

The students were highly encouraged by the positive feedback they received from visitors, who praised the quality of the food, the hospitality, and the overall service. The opportunity to learn and practice entrepreneurship skills was also a rewarding experience for the students, as they were able to directly engage with the public and witness the fruits of their hard work.

The Sweep Fair was a great success, combining important voter education with practical learning opportunities for the FCI Deoghar students. Visitors not only walked away with a greater understanding of their civic duties but also enjoyed a warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the students and the entire organizing team.
