As part of the Jharkhand Government’s statewide anti-drug campaign running from June 10 to 26, 2025, a special awareness program was organized at Food Craft Institute, Deoghar on June 23. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Nripendra Singh Lingwal administered a pledge to all staff members to support a drug-free society.

Dr. Lingwal addressed the harmful effects of substance abuse, especially among the youth, and emphasized the urgent need for awareness and prevention. He urged everyone to contribute towards building a healthy and addiction-free society.

The program is a part of the government’s initiative to reduce the demand and supply of narcotics and spread awareness across all 24 districts of Jharkhand. Through this pledge, the staff of Food Craft Institute expressed their commitment to actively support the fight against drug abuse and contribute to a healthier and stronger nation.
