The academic session 2025–26 at Food Craft Institute, Deoghar commenced with a grand two-day Orientation Programme, designed to welcome and guide the newly admitted students. The programme aimed to familiarize them with the institute’s academic framework, achievements, and future opportunities in the hospitality industry.
On the first day, students and their parents were introduced to various courses offered by the institute, including Food Production, Bakery & Confectionery, Food & Beverage Service, and Housekeeping. The academic achievements and training facilities of the institute were highlighted, along with career prospects in the hospitality sector.
The second day featured an inspiring interaction with industry experts. The programme began with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony and Saraswati Vandana. Principal Dr. Nripendra Singh Lingwal welcomed the distinguished speakers and emphasized the importance of discipline and confidence for building a successful career. Eminent professionals from reputed hotels of Deoghar—Chef Mukesh Singh Pundeer (Executive Chef, Ishan Sarovar Portico), Mr. Raju Choudhary (General Manager, Imperial Heights), and Mr. Kanchan Kumar (Manager, Ekta International)—shared their valuable experiences and encouraged students to pursue excellence in the hospitality field.
This Orientation Programme not only marked the beginning of the students’ academic journey but also instilled in them a sense of enthusiasm and determination to shape a successful career in the hospitality industry.
