Blood donation drive

TO MARK THE OCCASION OF WORLD PATIENT SAFETY DAY

The Food Craft Institute in Deoghar, in partnership with the Indian Red Cross Society Deoghar, organized a blood donation drive to commemorate World Patient Safety Day. The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Navin Kumar, the Deputy Development Commissioner of Deoghar, who served as the chief guest. During his address, Mr. Kumar emphasized the crucial role that education plays in shaping an individual’s life and encouraged students to engage in community service through initiatives like blood donation.

The Chairman of the Indian Red Cross Society Deoghar also took the opportunity to speak to the students, highlighting the significance of blood donation and its life-saving potential. Principal sir addressed the students and remarked at the aim to instill a sense of responsibility among the students regarding their ability to contribute positively to society. The event not only served as an educational platform but also as a call to action for students to understand the impact of their contributions.

In a show of solidarity and commitment, the Principal, along with faculty, staff members and students, participated in the blood donation drive, setting an example for all. Additionally, the students showcased a Nukkad Natak, a form of street theater, to illustrate the importance and benefits of blood donation in everyday life. This creative performance aimed to raise awareness and inspire others to consider the life-changing effects of donating blood.
