Tree Plantation Day | Celebration Of World Tourism Day

The Food Craft Institute in Deoghar, in partnership with the Inner Wheel Club of Deoghar, organized a tree plantation drive to commemorate World Tourism Day. This initiative aimed to raise awareness about environmental conservation and the importance of greenery in enhancing tourism. The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Vishal Sagar, the Deputy Commissioner of Deoghar, who took the lead by planting the inaugural tree, setting a commendable example for all attendees. Following his gesture, the Principal of the institute also participated in the planting activities, highlighting the collaborative spirit of the event.

A total of 130 saplings were planted during the drive, comprising 90 fruit-bearing trees and the remainder being flowering plants. This diverse selection not only contributes to the local ecosystem but also supports the community by providing food resources and beautifying the environment. The initiative reflects a commitment to sustainable practices and the enhancement of the natural landscape, which is essential for promoting tourism in the region.

During the event, Mr. Sagar addressed the students, emphasizing the critical importance of trees and environmental stewardship.
